Double price check, how much damage done "Ruined zerk"

So today around 12pm uk time they released new surge spells in osrs and I clicked on fire surge then back into fire wave as I didn't have the runes to somehow it switched into defensive stance instead of normal, whilst afk training in nmz .


the account got from 42-46 defense
B gloves, fire cape, torso, defender, max house

Please post a price check for BOTH current stats and what you think it would have been worth before with 42 defense

Trying to work out how badly the account has been ruined

 

at 42 def $500+

may aswell get it 70 def and 74 pray for a med level now, probably still like $300+

edit: rip just realized that this was probably a customers account

 

Difficult situation considering you ruined a customers account by leveling the def. At 42 def I'd shoot for 500-600. As it sits now its probably worth 250-300 MAX. So you either have to make a completely new build f0r him with the exact same stats or provide compensation for the lost value. Obviously you'd prefer to offer another account you've created. The value isnt just with the account either. It's with the amount of time it would take you to rebuild this all over again (2months?)

so far I have offered him the same build / a free 1 pray zerk worth about 200-250/ 171$ ltc/or to pay the difference in price/damage.
just getting all the options for him so he can pick w/e one he likes best

 

Ouch that sucks big time on the damage done. It's sick to see how many options you're giving the customer in regards to compensation, well done man you seem like a genuine dude.

 

if it was up to me, i well give him 250m or 200m and 50 usd. and make up some TOS.

Yeah would be about 200m.
Maybe offer to train the account up to a maxed med on top of some compensation?

You could also offer him to borrow one of your accounts whilst you create one for him
Depends how trustworthy he is but just chucking ideas out there
