    Tom Petty

having a parent who liked TP and liking him alot myself I watched it..

he was a little crappy id have to admit but take into consideration that this is probably the largest audience hes ever played for and most people would have wet their pants.

No, that was definately not the largest audience he's played for. He was very, very, very popular when those songs first came out. But, I did enjoy the half time show. It was somewhat unexciting compared to what we usually expect though.

Like really, my whole family was disappointed. They were expecting someone that was actually worth the super bowl...

although I don't want to go into debate, I think its like 15m+ people watching live at home plus 71k people and the ones that had special tickets to go on the field to see him.. even if, he hasnt played for an audience that big in a very long time if that wasnt his largest audience

Well yeah, I get what you mean. I wasn't really including the people at home watching. Personally for me of I was being taped and 200 billion people were goign to see it, that would easier than having a thousand people watch me do it live.

I know that >.> My point was it would be a lot easier having most of the people viewing you not right in front of you, but away where you couldn't see what they were thinking of your performance.

I didn't really think he was that bad live, actually.

No live song is as good as the studio version, though.
