What is the deal with the rule against irl world item trading? I have a ps2 I want to sell, and I was wondering if I could advertise here.

I wanted to know, what are the limits to this rule? Could I put something in my sig that says, Selling ps2? Or could I make a thread about it?

I'm asking this because a mod has done this. Is it a mod privilage?

Just go sell on Ebay or another reputable online market site. Selling real life stuff on Sythe is just so risky and ultimately leads to problems.

 

Well just try using kijjiji, i use that and it works fine.

Same thing as the name change situation. The reason why it isn't allowed is because no one wants to spend the time answering the scammer threads regarding real life items. You can't make a thread or put it in your sig. Like Nullware said, you could try ebay.
