A little digging in the knowledge base.

I decided to read up on the Grand Exchange to learn more in hopes of maybe being able to merchant for hefty profits like I used to prior to January.

After some reading I read an interesting portion that I know I've never heard of but have wondered about and seen others complain of.

This just goes to show that Jagex did realize that players might use fluctuation prices to RWT through the Grand Exchange and implementing this little annoyance makes it much, much harder. I suppose this also explains why R2 and the others that have tried using the GE to move items have done so with little success.

 

Strange. I read this too, but I know for a fact that you CAN buy something and then sell it again at a higher price in the GE. I've done it.

This statement isn't always true, you know. This wouldn't be the first time Jagex has lied...

 

When is it not true?

 

This simply makes the trade a bit longer, or you could trade player to player to avoid this.

RWTing through the Grand Exchange is still very much possible.

 

To be perfectly honest, RWTing through the GE is a very imperfect and imprecise method.
The chance that your goods will NOT go to the person you are intending them for is just as good or greater then the chance of being gang-banged by a clan on the way out of BH with your zammy pl8
