I find it easier to quit when I'm busy especially and I would avoid the places where I usually smoke.

I haven't smoked a cigarette, I was locked out of Sythe for over a week.

However, I bought a vape so I've kind of cheated. :/

Sounds like you just replace source of nicotine. I suggest you stop entirely.

First few days are going to be pretty bad, but you will get over it eventually.

    Best of luck!

Good luck, I quit smoking a few years ago cold turkey! Ditch the vape, that doesn't count as quitting!

Yeah I don't like it. Using the vape only after work a few times now. Plan to quit that totally as well as a New Years Resolution.

Did that happen? How are you doing now? Quit both the vape and cigs?

Good shit so far. I havnt smoked a cig in a week. I used to vape hardcore but whenever it died I'd panic buy a pack of smokes. I use the phix now, just enough vapor to feel and charges super fast, only downside is the pods are 5$ each:(

I tried quitting for years man and always failed. I've always been a person to get 3-4 weeks in without having a smoke and end up buying a pack because I couldn't take the withdrawals. For me personally what made me quit was a health scare with me, I came down with a chronic illness and smoking would've exacerbate and made it worse so for the sake of my family, my child and my girlfriend I just threw my pack away and never touched them again, it's been like 9 months since I've had a smoke.

I never believed in chewing gum or putting patches on my arm, just always tried the cold turkey method and found that every time I did I was able to reach another week or two before relapsing, but the last time with my health issues was what pushed me over the edge.

I quit smoking about 4 years ago, probably the best thing you can do for your health. You'll also find your bank account's balance sitting higher than usual if you can keep off them ;)

My family had a load of chain-smokers in it, sadly one of them passed away from lung cancer 10 years back :( I know a lot of people struggle with addiction and find it near impossible to give up, but anyone can do it. Don't beat yourself up over relapsing either; it's all part of the recovery.

I managed to quit them CT so easily; I had a full pack sitting around and one day I just decided I wanted to stop. Not a single craving and I don't remember having an unpleasant time either, guess I was lucky and just in the right state of mind at the time.

@Xour How is your cessation coming along? Did you manage to quit vaping also? Keep up the good work, from reading your posts on this thread you sound like you really want to quit. Hope you're doing well, stay strong!
