How to change IP?

I use roadrunner, and I was wondering what I should say to them to ask them to change my IP.


I heard you can just call them up and ask them to change it, but I don't know if you needa reason why or not. What do you recommend?

 

Yea, just phone them up. Ask them to change your IP, if they ask why tell them you think someone is going to hack you.

 

Some ISPs charge for changing an IP address. Also, you can't change it whatever you want; it will always still be in the same IP range.

Most likely, your ISP won't care if you're going to get hacked or not, they might not even change it.

 

hmk well ill try tmrw anyways and see what happens.

 

Have you tried recycling your modem?
