Robots WOW!

Just saw this on youtube. WOW this is insane. I seriously thought it was a real person at first untill you see its wiring in the back.

I am speachless, just WOW. I remember just some years ago they were not nearly as good as this. We are seriously living in probly the most important time period yet as far as advances go.

They look scary. Damn, they creep me out a lot lol.

I've seen one like this before like 2 years ago on discovery channel, But yeah It's pretty cool.

 

Yeah its a little old but I mean seeing robots when I was much younger, did not look/act this realistic. I bet they will start putting these things in places like Librarys first. I don't find it creepy though, its nice as can be.

 

LOOKS realistic, But needs a vocalist. make it sound more american!~

 

just looks? It acts pretty close to a human IMO. sometimes a little slow on response time though.

Not really, this bot is far better then any japanese bot ive seen. The only thing with the japanese is it tends to move better.

 

The movements seem slightly jerky, the face looks stoned and the head is pointy... but it's good though.

 

Looks nice, but hes controlled by the guy on the computer in the background.

Yeah its not very impressive if it is controlled, which yeah your right its slow response time explains that and the fact they always doing something on the computer when talking to him. Its a start though with the facial expressions. I think some of it is exactly programmed to say that stuff but not all of it.

 

Still this is impressive, even if he is controlled.

 

I'm with this guy. At least Asimo looks kool.

Redeemer, the Japanese ARE miles ahead. Not basing "facts", but they probably created the base on the technology that robot uses.

 

Maybe they did start it but they arn't really ahead to the point where we can't build what they can, people in japan just care about this shit more
