Please tell me what i can do better, and what i could work on. This is my first ever image developed in adobe.

 

4/10 For a first try.
I'd say- FONT, download one like in my sig, from- www.dafont.com
[28 days later]
Then, maybe add some musical notes?
Background should be a different colour.

Are you trying to make a sig or just images??

When I started out I went to youtube.com and searched for signature tutorials. This is the one that I used, though, it does not include text :/, easy to follow:


(youtube isn't working atm, I'll edit later)

 

List:

Read tuts.
Get brushes.
Get fonts.
Get C4Ds/Renders/Sprites/Stocks etc.
Use all the above in your signatures.
Add a lightsource.
More colour.
Do the impossible.

Do all the above and you'll be a very good gfx artist.

 

Needs a render. Or, you could copy what you're doing onto a bigger scale and make a nifty wallpaper. Remove the text, with those sizes and colors, you're not gonna be able to make it fit. Just the fact that you have PS means that you show potential. Keep it up, read some guides, get some brushes, and you'll be on your way.

 

Its okay you should try to get some different fonts and things tho like that on guy said, better than one i can make

 

I don't get why the text is red. It doesn't flow with the rest of the "image" and I don't understand why there is no render.

Read tutorials.

 

Sometimes its hard to match a color with that background.
It is seriously on of the hardest because the black and white dont contrast with the same things as effectively as they do by themselves.

looks like just a base picture with text that doesn't even look good, looks like good old MS paint picture.

 

plain picture, you can do much better.
