COVER UP TATTOO ADVICE!

I honestly think you should start a sleeve or shoulder cape. Lone shoulder tattoos kinda look funky. I have two sleeves and one started off as an awkward shoulder tattoo. I'm not saying do it now but leave your tattoo open so you can add more to it if you want.

 

I am actually covering up from my tattoo and up. Its going to be a feather with a sun above it.

I'd prefer if it didn't show when i wore a tshirt haha.

Sounds like you are rushing into tattoos. You regret your first one because it holds no meaning. Sounds like you are covering it up with something that doesn't really have meaning to you. Are you sure you won't regret this cover-up tattoo in your future? You should really be talking to artists, not asking for opinions on Sythe. You've had your initial tattoo for 7 years so why the rush now deciding what to cover it up with? Take your time and ask for multiple opinions before you rush into something because you feel obligated by your deposit. Some artists are good at cover ups some aren't, are you confident in your artist?

 

Just think about it for a bit be sure it has some meaning to it or when time passes you'll find yourself looking at an old rusty meaningless tattoo.

 

If I was to get a tattoo I'd think for months a bout a design, then I'd print out whatever I came up with and put it somewhere I can see it everyday and after 5-6 months of looking at it everyday I'd then decide whether to get it.

Even then I'd probably find the best tattoo artist in my country and pay whatever the price is.

Tattoos are for life and don't do anything you will most likely regret in the future!

I am going to a high reputable tattoo art and paying a lot for something small. Cost is roughly $550.

Hope you're happy. You can always expand it if you'd like as well, good job on not making the fatal mistake of getting a closed tattoo. And by closed I mean unable to put anything else around it
