My first...piece of crud.

Ok, i was messing around with The GIMP, trying to make a sig, but...i got this peice of crap, any help on how to make them? or how to use the GIMP for sig's?

I have a tip for using GIMP- Don't.

 

Lmao disaster, and yer even though gimp if free for a full version of it its not that good compared to ps, try get the 30 day trial of ps... if you got flashget, bitcommet or maybe a torrent it will download alot quicker.
Then get some brushes and fonts follow some tuts and you will get better.
Not many tuts or brushes for GIMP as you've probly found, even though there is a .abr file converter to turn ps brushes into GIMP brushes wich is pretty helpfull if you have GIMP but GIMP just isnt as good unless your like a master sig maker lol.

Let me just say now, when you said you made a awsome sig, you did not.

You made a ok background, which you follow with no render, along with a horrible choice of text.

I know I'm not really one to talk, but I'm just saying.
