i need help

my dad put this net gear firewall on my comp and i can barly do anything on the net(mainly tryin to get on runescape).i really dont kno much about it but i think the firewall is word based and that is about it.so plz help me out

 

Concerning the netgear router... (Couldn't find anything about a netgear firewall, so try following the instructions below. They have worked for me, and should for you)

Go to 192.168.0.1

Login with the username "admin" and password "password". (Those are the defaults)

Go to the "Block Sites" section. Look for keyword blocking, and select "Never".

Remember, if the password didn't work, just go to the router physically and press the reset button.

 

Wait you can reset the routers setting's by just reseting it or turning off?? If you can thats something i just learned thanks

 

Maybe just un install it and put the icons there so it looks installed.

 

do u type 192.168.0.1 in the adress?

 

Yes, like you would type www.google.com

 

just get a new one, always works for anything
