Okay, so what does any of that have to do with the current president and the current state of play? Check out the last two 'elections' you had, see who got in and how favourable they have been to the corporations, see how much corporate media assisted in manipulating the results, see where all the money for the dirty tricks came from, and check out how much sway they are going to have on virtually all the candidates this time.

Then go dig up Roosevelt, wake up Carter, and then go 'Please Mr Ex-President, get us out of our current mess'

indeed, however (in general) they are in for 8 years. look at the numbers and you'll see that the norm is for them to get elected for the second term.

Now given that your last president didn't get elected in for either of their 4 year stretches you might get why I think the way I do.

I have to agree with Eric on here, In my opinion a presidential term is not acceptable for a women to accept. They are to emotional (do not flame me here..just saying what i feel.) There was a front page cover on a paper around New York i believe, that had a picture of Hillary Clinton crying. And the headline said something along the lines of "Is this how she will talk with our world leaders?" now im not being sexist here, but that is right. you cannot have someone who is going to cry to world leaders, and that will just make the country look weak.
