RWTing with the party room

While many people have suggested the "put 1m in the party room and hope noone comes" tactic, using the Party Room to RWT is actually pretty plausable.

A bit of digging at the runescape site reveals the following:

1m+: 10 minute delay, Bankers all over Runescape offer teleports
150k-1m: 5 minute delay, everyone in Falador announces
50k-150k: 1 minute delay, Falador bankers announce
<50k: 10 second delay, NO ANNOUNCEMENTS.

In a low-populated world, I can't think of any faster and safer method to transfer money. Simply buy items with a market value of a few coins under
50k, go to the party room with the buyee, and pull the lever.

You can help pop the balloons, and if you find the item let the buyee know and he can stand there until it appears (I believe items over 3k do appear in the party room as long as nobody has touched them).

Even better, you can start another drop as soon as the last one is finished. There is little risk of losing your wealth, and even if you do it's only 50k.

While this method may not be suitable for xferring millions, it should be fine for things like guide/name/service sales. It also serves as it's own MM, as the buyee can see what items the seller entered and exactly what they are worth

eh yeah itd take forever to tranfer alote of cash,but its better than anything else

Bounty hunter may let you xfer more at once, but it has a large possibility of failing- and when you do, you lose more at once.

 

im doing it now i thought of it ages ago its pretty gay coz noobs are always in party room

 

if you look around there's always a world with an empty party room, especially mid-level worlds

it works sometimes but even in empty worlds u always get the ocasional noob walking past and they come in =/

 

Of course he tested it, or he wouldn't know what it'd do...It takes about a minute or so for about 100k...that was with luck on popping and such...

 

especially since theres the mining stairs right next to the party pete, someone will past. but this is a nice method to get cash to a pure or something or your friend.

 

You can also use this to xfer from skillers or autoers, by converting whatever they make/auto into cash and then an item like rune pl8.

 

Well I tried this yesterday while I tried to find a good empty world. I came across a good world then I stashed in 40,000 coins and pulled the lever no one called and I started getting the money though it takes a while for the right amount you want to get passed onto another account.

 

Don't put in coins, they get spread out too much. Use an item like rune platebody, it's worth around 45k.
