How to avoid your accounts getting connected?

And consequently mass banned.

Since I don't bot or plan to, losing a single account isn't a huge loss. However I haven't had any of mine banned over 6 years so I guess I was careless. They banned 5 out of my 8 accounts in one day and for "macroing". I've never macroed but whatever. Im just curious how they managed to connect those accounts. There are other people playing from the same connection (my whole family plays RS) and none of them got banned. Can anyone shed some light into that?

 

What were you doing on the account to get banned? whats the punishment in the offence history?

 

Well, macroing (major) was the offense. I play RS a lot and pretty much did the same things I always do. Play a bit, then sit at a bank and dismantle stuff while I watch movies or work..

They banned all my 5 accounts for the same thing too. I mean like sure, I do sell gold every 3-4 months cause I play a lot and it piles up, might as well do it. But RWT is a separate offense and, besides, how would they even know, it's not like I talk about in the game.

 

Probbaly traced your accounts threw trade logs.

 

My brother didn't get banned, I've traded with him.. and they also didn't ban 3 accounts I play regularly. Not sure why those 5 and not the others then.
