My Silly Little Joke:The Stat Editor

2,817 thread views and 624 downloads later...Yes, my "stat editor" was fake. Honestly, I spent almost 2 hours learning the basics of Visual Basic just to teach you guys a lesson, and to try to get the community to lighten up a bit.

There is not now, and will never be any sort of stat editor for Runescape.

One thing that DID bug me a lot was after even linking to a guide on where to get and how to use Winrar, I get at least 20 PM's asking for links to download it. >_<

Now, time to laugh at some of the responses I've gotten from people. Since I'm such a nice guy, I won't post names. (I recieved 129 PM's JUST about the editor.)

The German guy made me laugh. I think you overestimate the intelligence of people nowadays. I mean, how many people clicked on that "myspace" link you had up? (After the rickroll link that went around I always hover my mouse before clicking... I was almost hoping it was, it's always amusing for a while.) After all your work with bans and such, I'm sure you know all about it though. I'm sure the people on mIRC enjoyed it though.

And I'm guessing people didn't even wonder why your stats "after using the exploit" didn't include the area for summoning? I don't even play and I knew that...

Lol, why are some people really angry, this is gotta be one of the funniest things i've seen at sythe so far, then again i havnt been here that long.

 

My friend wanted me to download it so i did.. The rickroll came up, but i just closed it..

 

I thought it was rather pointless seeing if anyone else did this it would simply get locked, deleted and the user possibly infracted for spamming.

However i can also see the lighter side to it, and that 95% of this community need to learn the basic facts of the internets.
The sad thing is you could re-post this in 1-2 weeks and you will probably rickroll afew of the same people.
