I did a thread like this before. I think I am going to make this a regular thing after every fight that I have.

Recently beat my opponent by TKO in Round #2. My my current stand-up record is 4-0.

So I am willing to answer any questions that people may have about fighting. I can help in any of the following sports: Muay Thai, Boxing, or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. So ask away, I will respond back as fast as I can.

    Thanks

Honestly I would say about 90% of the time it is fun. Better yet, let me put it like this. It is as fun as you want it to be. To me training, sparring, putting the hours in at the gym and then seeing the results either physically or in an actual fight is the most fun I have ever had. Especially all of your training partners who eventually become like family, you see them so much.

So Personally I would say it is fun. It just all depends on what you are looking to do.

Lmao honestly, me no I haven't fought on the big stage yet. But, I know teammates who have like 3 girls in there room after fights.

A common joke is if your a fighter make sure you don't bring your girl with you to the matches. Especially when you fight at Casino's.

They give you some dope perks beaides the women too.

    1. Free Food/Buffet Style
    2.Compt Room
    3. VIP in Clubs (even just being affiliated you cut lines)
    4. Just special treatment if your a good fighter.

Threw out highschool i was always that one scrappy guy that always took no shit from anyone that was talking smack win or lose i love to fight. my brother was a big fighter aswell so i think thats where i get it from iv always dreamed of being with the big boys fighting infront of crowds. How would one even get into something like that?
Iv honestly can say iv been in 15 fights that i can think of at the top of my head (24 years of age) Now i can say i took a good beating a few times. But iv defs won alot more then lost.
Everyone also told me, "Man you don't look like a fighter to me" i always told everyone, You dont need big pipes to fight. its all about technique. Its weird i would get so worked up after a fight and i wouldn't remember anything it would be like i blacked out and dont remember anything of the fight even though i got told i whooped some ass and took no punches

    P.s i my self has a lazy Eye :D

Currently I fight at 190lbs or 86kg (for my non-american peeps) , walk around like 210lbs/95kg. I am 6'0". I will eventually fight at 170lbs/77kg as I go further in my fight career.

The latest, it depends on what you want to do. If you want to go pro the sooner the better. Your body can only take so much damage and has only so much mileage. You want the experience that comes with training and you want the knowledge from fighting as an amateur. Amateur is where you can lose and make all the mistakes, once you're pro that record doesn't matter. But in reality you can start any age you want, if your goals are just to get in shape and learn how to fight. But, I would without say start as soon as you can.

Lmao I actually don't have a lazy eye. I just typed the name randomly and thought it was funny. But more power to all my Lazy eyed people *raises fist in air*

Now, to answer your question. Just find a gym, dude. Idk where you are from or anything about your background. But if you want to fight in front of a crowd, which is such a crazy experience by the way. I would say:

    1) just google search or *insert favorite search engine here* and see what gyms are in your area.

    2) Call and see if they offer a free class. A lot of gyms will offer either 1 free class or a free week. Take full advantage of that. This will help you know if the gym is a good fit for you.

    3) Check Groupon, really good gyms have amazing deals on there sometimes. This one gym in my area, called WaiKru, which is one of the top gyms had a deal for $50 for a month. They usually charge $120-$150 for a month.

    4) Use your time searching to check out as many gyms as you can. You will find somewhere that feels like home. And don't be discouraged if you end up at a shitty gym at first.

    5) Just be consistent, I promise you if you give it 1 year you will be amazed at the transformation of your body, your mind, and your ability to fight. You will wonder why you hadn't started doing this sooner.

    6) Don't be scared to do it. Just jump in with both legs and enjoy the ride at 24 you will be starting late. But it doesn't mean you can't have a good career. A fighter at my gym started at 25 or 26 and he is 27 has 15+ fights, fights on lion fights, has two title belts and is on the brink of going pro. It is possible, just gotta put in the work.

I will leave you with this story. I started off in a tiny ass gym inside of a workout gym, like planet fitness or one of those other places. It was a tiny room in the up stairs of the building. I remember paying for 6 months in advance, I was so scared of starting training for the first month I didn't go. I just built up the courage and went, and now I have 5 wins 0 loses, I'm an amateur champion, and I have two Medals in BJJ and I started at 23. My first gym was shit (holes in the wall, the roof fell down on us while we were sparring once, leaks, torn bags, etc. etc., we trained hard and eventually I ended up at a better gym. I am telling you this because it is important to know, it doesn't matter where you start, just matters where you end up.

Just get started, I believe you can do. Can't wait to hear about you killing it on the big stage.

    Best of luck to you.
