Can't really see any major downsides and since you're making a poll there must be some demand so sure.

 

What is the skins market like for Fortnite? What are some of the products/services we can add to the Fortnite section?

 

They are implementing skins into the game currently. I am not sure how trade able they are?

I assume this will be for boosting services as they are bringing a ranked system out soon.

If they are coming with tradable skins for Fortnite, it may be a good idea to set this up in order to be the *first* market to include Fortnite skins.

Are there any sources/news on whether these skins will be of value/even tradable?

 

Not that I know of, the other game they made, Paragon, has the same system they are looking like they are implementing in fornite which is buy credits with real currency and use the credits on in game material. Paragon still has no trade able items as far as I am aware. This looks like it could be the case for fortnite.

 

I voted yes because Fortnite is really played game atm.

Fortnite hasn't announced or implemented a trading system yet, perhaps a discussion thread, but not a market.

 

why would this be added to survival market? there is no trading system, there is no market, and there really isn't even boosting of any sort?

Better to make the section and close it if a market doesn't pan out in a reasonable time (maybe 1-3 months?) that way we're hopefully in google searches once a market does open up for the game.

It fits under the category, and it doesn't hurt to be ahead of the curve when it comes to making sections like this. We approve sections for games that have been out for years and already have established communities or hubs, I think we should try to instead focus our attention on games that don't yet have established marketplaces or communities. The only game I can think of that we've rolled out a section close to / before it coming out was No Man's Sky and unfortunately that game turned out to be a complete dud.

TL;DR we make sections that turn out dead as fuck for old games all the time. Why not make a dead as fuck section that has the potential to grow?

 

There is a Fortnite market. It isn't a big market but there is a market (Playerauctions), mostly for materials and accounts. A Fortnite marketplace with a community forum might attract some new Sythe members.

Therefore i support this idea.
