I was trading my own account some GP and about 5 minutes later I get disconnected and banned for RWT. What?!?!

Real world trading is against the rules.

 

If you read OP he said he was trading over to his own account not selling gold aka Rwt

 

Yeahhhhhhhh, they’ve been doing this a lot recently. Idk if it’s part of a new crackdown or if they have new detection

 

What the hell do I do? I wasn't buying gold. The accounts I was trading we're both running my IP and computer. Not evn a VPN either.

 

Dispute it. Tell them you were just trading over gold from one of your accounts to the other. Also show them proof of you being logged into both.

 

That’s extremely bizarre.
I have traded lots and lots of money over the course of the last year, all of which was from another character. 900M+ in different trades even.

Anyone having this ban issues also for RWT?

 

I've heard this have happened to few guys who i trust when they say they haven't sold gold, jagex being pretty fast with those things nowdays, Unlucky. Pretty sure whatever u do u will stay banned. Rip.

 

24 hours prior I did a swap for 235m to 40m 07, but I doubt that would be the reason, 11 year old account wouldn't get flagged for that much. I submitted an appeal request hopefully it will be recognized and unbanned, but takes ~2 weeks for a reply.

 

If you've actually RWT'd before they will most probably see it when looking into your account too, so could well be GG even if this specific instance wasn't RWT.

I've traded quite a lot of GP recently between accounts on my IP and everything seems to be fine ATM

you're scaring me OP, i've traded a total of 100m to 2 of my alts, 50m each.
this was for them to train @ nmz to buy bonds, repair guthans, buy high tier boots etc etc.. if i get banned for this i will cry cuz than ill be banned for rwt b4 i even started

 

No point doing nmz if thy change the dueal arena rules maxed meele acnts will drop alot

 

Swapping isn't against the rules is it? I don't see why you were banned.

 

What are the age of the two accounts?

 

If what you're saying is true i wouldn't need to worry if they're your accounts.

i've traded stuff over for years never been banned for rwt.

Just dispute it and explain.
