Help, paintball or airsoft gun?

Any suggestions?

Im stuck between the two.

 

Paintball, airsoft is for noobs..

paintball has more use and is better all around. Airsoft is for using inside or shooting little kids.

 

Paintball is a lot more fun and easier to use. Airsoft is boring and doesn't hurt, it is only fun if you scream when you get shot.

Wth are you all talking about? Real airsoft (Canadian airsoft), Is for people who like using realistic guns and generally not for children or stupid teens (Honour system). Real airsoft guns can shoot up to 450fps which is almost double most paintball guns and they sting like a bitch. Despite the fact airsoft owns you, I would go with paintball beucase there are more commerical fields and an entry level one can be obtained at a lower price.

Btw jebckr I'm not talking about that 10$ shit you got from walmart.

 

Airsoft is much more cheaper. 1000 paintballs for $30 is quite a lot to spend all the time. Paintball i prefer better, i think you can get more fun out of a paintball gun.

 

You compared a high-end airsoft gun to a mid-grade paintball gun..

Almost any paintball gun over $500 can shoot 450+ fps.

 

Daft question but do you prefer playing airsoft or do you prefer playing paintball?

If you haven't played either then try both (afaik most sites let you hire) and then make your call. In the long run your going to spend the same on both (ie as much as you can!) so aim it on which gives you the most fun.

If your still undecided then look at your calender and work out which works best with your social life, or try and work out which you can get the most of your friends into.

And if you still can't decide then choose the one that had the fittest women on the field when you went ;-)

air soft---

depends on what you get(electric or gas powered)
gas pwoered is like a paintball gun
cheap
there are paint balls for air soft
you can play in your backyard without getting paint everywhere(if you use regular airsoft bbs)
wont get neighbors mad at ya

disadvantage---

not as popular(many people have both so when they are with friends in neighborhood they use airsoft)
is not as accurate unless you get good ones
not as fun(still fun though)


paintball---

fun
popular
many people play
there are places you can play at(like actual paintball fields for games)
competitions hosted by local paintball shop with field(some do)
and you can go pro if your good(kinda rare lol)


disadvantage---

expensive for all the air, paintballs, and upgrades toward gun and just gun itself and equipment and cost to play at places
can get hurt(bruises bout it but sometimes bruises are real bad if hit hard enough sometimes it can break a bone like in hand)

cant play in neighborhood since neighbors will get mad with the paint on their property and stuff

there are some more but those are some of major advantage and disadvantage

 

Wow you fool, even if some gay ass paintball gun of yours can shoot that speed the maximum thats aloud is only 300 max.

Torgue, the only way you can break a bone playing paintball is if you trip or if you get shot by a gun that is way over the limit for fps and you have osteoporosis.

 

Really, is there an official rule somewhere saying that when i play with friends I can't shoot over 300? Because damn, I've broken the rules plenty of times.

Not to mention, 300 is tournament speed. Not all games are tournaments.

I'd go with paintball, unless your friends have airsoft, then go with that, or get both..

 

Paint balls are made of bio-biodegradable gelatin. Air-soft BB's are made of straight up, non bio-degradable plastic.

Paintballs will be gone in 2 weeks if it rains/snows etc.. Air-soft BB's will be there for longer than you will live.

Well only high end "tournament" guns fire at that speed and I assume you play with your high end "tournament" gun in the woods. The bright colors just make so visible its invisible.....

Btw wtf is the point of buying an expensive Pb gun if your going to use in in your backyard?
