Some guy just brought a gun to school...

I live in San Diego and some guy just rode his bike to school, he had a gun in his hand and threatened to kill people. Then we went under a lockdown drill. At the time I was in PE and we had to run across the street to safety. We were there for about an hour, and school had been over for about 30 minutes. There were police all over the school looking for the guy and there were helicopters flying overhead. They eventually found him and took him into custody. As soon as the drill was over I ran to school and found out that a school 3 miles away was also in lockdown. I live in a big city, and things are pretty scary right now. Anyways, I just decided I would come and get your thoughts on this.

i live in a small "village" and we have never had something like that happen.

Nobody got hurt, except people were crying. At our school there is like over 1,000 people. Our principal was the one that saw the man and decided to do a lockdown drill. There were police with guns with everybody in case anything happened. Our parents were scared. This reminds me of a few years ago when there was a bomb on the roof of the school. But that wasn't nearly as bad as this.

 

Wow, that's actually a little scary knowing that the people you knew in school could have been hurt.

 

WOW are you serious?!?!?! Lol, anyways that is scary, but the a black guy generally wont shoot up a school. They just like to make a scene and talk big. It's the kid in the back of the room who never talks and gets made fun of for years that you gotta worry about...

 

yep, thats why i dont make fun of anyone. because if they bring a gun to school and you made fun of them, they are going for you of course. but yeah i would be crying if i knew people in there.

He probably just did it because was mad, but he was too afraid too actually do something. Besides, he knew he would've been in jail for a long time since there were like 20 police cars surrounding the school and like 20 police officers in the school searching for the man.

I'm glad to hear that noone was hurt, but that's a very scary event.... Schools need to teach psychological methods of dealing with the pressures associated with high school.

 

Wow, that sounds like it was scary. I remember one time someone from
our classroom brought a loaded gun to school and threatened to kill him,
We were on lockdown, not sure how long though, since the teacher never
really told us. Anywho, good thing no one got injured.

 

I'm glad I live in a small city where nothing like this happens.

Ok, stop flaming me. I don't judge someone on the color of their skin. I look at statistics. Statistically speaking, blacks have a much higher crime rate person for person. There are countless other stats that I could mention, but won't simply because some of the people here arn't open minded enough to listen to what I have to say.
