Summoning is a gay update. Why bother trying when runescape is already dead.

Anyways takes forever to lvl up.

 

LOL I soo find it funny that they make it hard to get money, and then create a new skill that uses ALL of your money. Good stuff.

 

Summoning is teh ownage. Even if it does take a lot of money (for now), it still owns any other combat skill.

WTF is up with the xp for summoning? Its like 0.1 xp per cast for like the first 10 levels. After that its 1xp per casts and then goes up slowly. Summoning is cool but damn, so slow. I gained 1 combat level when I got level 7 summoning, shitty.

 

*POUCHING* is a piece of shit skill, i like how jagex said "it will become one of the best money making skill in the game" but yet the skill it self NEEDS other skills to make money. for example Runecrafting

 

Summoning looks promising I must say.

 

You summon the monster inside the pouch, so its *SUMMONING*.

It definetly will become one of the best money making skills.

They are reducing the money that you need for shards.

 

as a matter of a fact, no its not. no matter how many updates runescape will have. it will never take back what they did 10/10/07.

Don't forget, they're going to reduce the prices for all of the Summoning items soon. They mentioned in a previous update that they would let the prices do whatever for a week or so. So that'll make levelling alot cheaper, at least.

Also, Jagex is intentionally leaving a large price gap between summoning pouches and the strike scrolls you can produce from them. This makes merchanting scrolls a very promising money making prospect, especially after the price update.

Maybe the monsters coming out next febuary will offer more XP and higher hits. I noticed that most of them are geared toward higher-level summoners, so all we can do is wait and see

 

Wow, this skill is fucking pointless.

Summoning was the only reason I came on to Runescape from time to time, I've now quit completely.
