    If a tree falls

Your world-view affects whether you get the question "right". There is no concrete right answer, because people have different views.

    If a tree falls

Well, a few years ago, a tree did fall in my backyard and yes it did make a loud noise because it landed on the fence.

    If a tree falls

You've basically said it makes a sound due to these two sentences, they both imply that the tree makes a sound when it falls but that noone is around to hear it, basically you have proven it does make a sound and answered your own question

    If a tree falls

You know it makes a noise because of commonly accepted facts.

Everytime you're around a falling tree, it makes a sound. So when you're away from one, you're not affecting the tree any differently, which means it should do the same thing. So when you're not around, it should still make a sound.

    If a tree falls

When something moves, it produces sound waves and X frequency. Trees falling is audible to humans. According to physics, it will always do this. You cannot disprove physics, so this thread is going nowhere. Just a series of speculations.

This question is meant to make you think about the unknown and possibly expand your mind. In all literallacy, the tree makes a sound, don't try and argue against it, because it is pointless.

    If a tree falls

Force is proportional to frequency. Fouis is correct.
