As a huge fan of Bang since S4-S6, man that series was hard to watch. Hope he picks himself up next season. This guy legit was #1 ADC in the world at one point.

 

Damn. SKT finally loss :S. Sad. About time SSG won though. They always play really well.

From the behind the scenes video against RNG it seems like KKoma and Faker are not all that thrilled with Huni. They basically begged him to play passive and just scale.

I wonder why they didn't just keep Duke then if they wanted a utility top laner.

 

It's not as much of a surprise, to me, that SSG won as it is that SKT made the final.
SKT is missing so many things and, over the tournament, they came back time and time again, but that's not the sign of a still dominant team. I'm waiting to pass judgement on the usually stable bottom lane, saying that an ardent meta may not have been for them when Wolf doesn't like babysitting his AD.

Huni, Blank, and Peanut presented as significant weaknesses and it's time for SKT to Upgrade.

 

Bang was the biggest weak link in the Finals yet you want to get rid of Huni, Blank, & Peanut?

Peanut and Blank lacked any proactivity the whole tournament, Huni doesn't have the champion pool to play the way SKT would truly like to play. Bang has been a top-3 ADC for three years, he gets a pass. Huni, Blank and Peanut have never been top-3 in their roles (Peanut has had the same weaknesses, for years)

 

Welp, my prediction couldn't be further from right, haha. 0-3 SKT sweeped by SSG.
