how do you know the food is not cooked where only 1 little section has lots of flavor?

Already countered that by saying its not near anything and there would be multiple foods to test it.

Simple physics says that it does make a sound. You can't argue with physics.

Without any reasonable evidence to show that it wouldn't, I can only conclude that it would. Yes, quantum mechanics states that not observing a particle allows it to exist and not exist at the same time (in a manner of speaking), but this applies to the micro world, not the macro.

 

Yes, everything makes sound waves through the air, just one from a tree with no one around leaves no one to hear it. So it DOES make a sound, just the sound is never received by the ear.

 

So you have no proof that it's making a sound. The sound waves you feel are just wind.

 

Doesn't make a sound. Fact.
It makes vibrations. Our eardrums turn vibrations into sound. But we're not there.

I have never went to New York, nor have I personally seen or witness 2 planes go into the World Trade Center, did it happen? Is the TV lieing?

I was never there for WWII, how do I know it even happened? Maybe the veterans are payed to lie?

I was never at the location of the tree to see or hear it fall, so did it make a noise?

if a tree falls, the movement of the tree causes soundwaves, there for sounds.

even if there are no people or animals to pick up the sound, the sound wave is still there, you just don't pick it up.

It is generally physics, if a fucking tree hits the ground it WILL make sound, unless it's one of those wierdass playdo trees.

Unless, of course, you define sound as being a vibration with the potential to create sound, which I find silly, but probably acceptable in some dictionaries. Then sound would essentially be entering your ears and "making sound"... wtf is that shit?

 

It makes a sound, the presence of a person or not does not affect the fact the impact still generates vibrations which is what sound is.
