How to hide certian folders...

Does anyone know how to hide folders apart from puting that actual folder into another one or the other one where you click a certian option and it hides it. If there is any other method to hide folders then please post thanks

What kind of file?

 

You can make a file hidden by going into its prosperities and checking the hidden box.

another cool thing you could do is

set this as the icon for your folder >> <<invisible icon
and rename the folder to Alt + 255

makes the file invisible until the mouse clicks or highlights it.
