Look to set a schedule and stick to it instead of trying to be available 24/7. I personally kept my skype and email private and I found it helped a lot with being able to disconnect and take breaks. Just like any job, working too much and not taking breaks will burn you out much faster.

Also, its best to look out for your health and if being a moderator is having adverse effects it would be a good idea to step down and take a break. I'm sure you've done a great job and if you decide to reinstate, I'm sure that the team would be willing to take you back.

Perhaps, its best to talk to current staff and see if they feel the same way. Maybe you guys need to set schedules, routines or improve processes to avoid having to be available all of the time.

    Shoot.
I know I’m not alone when I say this, but man, I definitely appreciate YOU just being YOU.
Even prior to you being Mod, you are a great person & an amazing Assest to this community.
Even when I ask you dumb questions (which I tend to do)
    You are always patient.
I am obviously not a Mod, but I am sure what you are experiencing is something that ALL the Mods have (and continue) to experience.
All in all, I can’t speak from a place of experience on the Sythe Community & Modding, but, I own and opperate a sales force.
My mentor told me once “Building a team and doing leadership is like herding cats”
Leadership, is probably the MOST draining thing that you’ll ever do. It’s very demanding, and isn’t for everyone.
However; this is how you create a legacy.
Like many others have said above, balance is key man.
    Honestly.
    ALL disciplines affect the others.
    You need to grow;
    Mentally
    Physically
    Spiritually
    Familial
    Financially
Focus on maintaining homeostasis in your life - this is a NATURAL state the body and mind are ALWAYS fighting for.
Find an outlet that is truly yours, that Sythe and no one else is involved in & use that to refresh.
One VERY key thing I would recommend you make a ritual if you haven’t already, is personal development. Read read read, Grow Grow Grow.
Absorb as much knowledge on leadership skills as you can man, that stuff is a godsend.
I can say that I definitely appreciate all you do for us, here in the community. If you ever need to talk man, please reach out.
    Thank you my friend.

I was a moderator on the rsps called Ikov for 6 months.
In those 6 months i can relate to everything you say here i felt like i was getting used and abused and i got nothing out of it. I would come home from a 8-12 hour shift and sit and moderate the game. It was sad because you could get demoted for inactivity and i did not want that to happen. But in those 6 months i became more addicted to moderating i legit did not do anything other then work-eat-moderate. You need to set a time limit you spend on these forums man or you will bore your self out to the point you just do not want to moderate anymore, And i know no one ever wants to resign with out putting in a good reason. Just do your self a favour and just set a time limit as stated above. Log in, Do some reports and get off. Remember there is more then just you on the team. Goodluck @Wortel
