OSRS - Worth playing?

Might come back to RS soon. With that being said, RS3 looks too confusing and I'm not sure if OSRS has enough content to make it worth playing regularly.

 

RS3 is pay to win shite, OSRS is definitely worth playing, would recommend starting as an Ironman, you can't trade with anyone so have to gather all your own Drops and Supplies.

Makes even easy drops seem big, and rune items so much more rewarding

 

Both are some what boring. Havnt played rs3 since before eoc cos its pretty ezscape on it.

OSrs gets tedius for me as i dont really know what to do other then stake or pk.

 

Osrs is by far the best game out the both imo plenty of content to keep you occupied for months

 

Hey, I quit RS back in 2011 and just came back not too long ago. They've made quite a bit of updates for OSRS in the past few years and the updates are usually decided by polls from players so don't worry about them messing the game up again. While the playerbase isn't as active as the prime time of RS, it's still pretty active with size of playerbase just behind WoW.

Also, OSRS mobile is coming out soon so it might bring back some players. I would suggest you to give it a shot.

 

Recently got back into it after quitting for awhile.. Have been playing this game on and off for like 10+ years. Can't seem to quit altogether due to nostalgia reasons.

Definitely still worth it to play!

 

OSRS all the way, If you wish to play rs3 style game just play World of Warcraft. WoW is so much better overall than rs3

 

OSRS and buy few mils from trusted sellers and enjoy your journey

Came back to OSRS during the summer. Was fun for a bit, but definitely lost motivation to grind especially since I prefer PvP content (I can't be bothered grinding 80+ combat stats). The nostalgic feeling wore off pretty quick for me. I'm sure I'll be back months down the road, but for now I think I'm done with OSRS for a bit.

 

OsRs is 100% worth playing, Hop in and have fun

 

No one can convince you to come back but yourself, if you login and stand there wondering what to do then log off then it isn't the time for you.

Set some goals and stick to them if you want to come back.

 

osrs is the shit if youre from back in the days rs3 are empty servers it sucks

 

Tbh either is worth playing if u find a good community, example, Im in dungeoneering, or was (not sommuch anymore) l, and barbarian assault for oldschool

 

OSRS doesn't really have much end-game content that will keep you motivated to play past a certain point IMO. The grind to get there was enjoyable for me though.

 

OSRS is the ONLY RS worth playing imo.. lol
