Yeah it's definitely looking like a rematch of last year's finals, unfortunate that the two Korean teams had to play each other in the quarters

SKT but it won't be easy. SSG or RNG could beat them IMO.

SSG is so unpredictable though they either stomp or get stomped. Really weird team.

 

I figured TSM was gonna choke once they had to play that tiebreaker with Misfits, history sort of called on it happening lol. I think RNG does have the best chance at beating them out of the remaining teams but I think SKT's experience with winning 3 Worlds already is really the deal breaker here

I hope RNG can take SKT to 5 games, but yeah SKT wins all the way.

Except me They looked pretty bad in groups and while that was just groups I knew it was possible that continues. So far, it has. But I have a feeling that sucks for RNG. SKT not gonna play that poorly in another Bo5. Misfits played well but SKT def didn't play their best.

Would you even consider it a poorly played Bo5 though, even though they were down 2-1, I wonder how many people truly believed that Misfits could pull it off. Crazy how when you push Faker to the edge he just plays even better and clutches the shit out of the must win games

 

Yeah I thought SKT played like shit for the most part. Faker saved them. Bot lane got dumpstered by Hans and Ignar. If they play like that vs RNG they're screwed.

 

I've been watching league e-sports (NA LCS+LCK mostly) for 4 years and like 2 seasons ive felt SKT actually have been disrespected during worlds as not being in favor to win it all. Even last year I rem people said ROX was going to win it all lol

That's why even when SKT looks bad, you have to give them the benefit of the doubt to pull thru all their adversities

 

I agree with that 100 percent. SKT still my favorite to win. I expect a clinic in their next round. And they just own SSG so I really don't think SSG can beat them either.

 

Tbh this samsung that just beat Longzhu looked really good, especially Ambition.

It might go to another game 5.

Also very interested on how RNG is going to do against SKT (assuming they beat FNC lol)

 

Ikr this worlds so crazy I shouldn't advance RNG past Fnatic yet.

It's weird because Longzhu seem to have the answers for SKT but not SSG. And SKT has the answers for Samsung but not Longzhu (at least in the Summer Split Final).

Think I'm gonna stay up live for RNG Fnatic. Gonna be 4 am here but f it. I will at least watch gm 1 and see if Fnatic looks good. Maybe gm 1 is a bad idea though cuz SKT won gm 1 16 kills to 1 lmao. So if I had been doing that last night I'd have missed the best parts of the series. I'll try to stick around for at least the first two.
