The Only Solution To Our Predicament Is...

I am attempting to lead an organized movement to have Jagex repeal their recent decisions. If no other workarounds can be found this is our only hope and we might just have a shot at it. I have some things that anybody including you can do to... SAVE RUNESCAPE!!!(Note the melodrama)

EDIT: People you need to grow some fucking balls. No wonder everyone who plays Runescape is a loser. It's because you guys let anyone push you around. No wonder you people can't even get a girlfriend, you let some stupid video game company that YOU pay money to, push you around. So send at least one piece of hate mail. Put something in your sig. If you can't do this then you fail at life. Hopefully someone with those pixels next to their usernames will come around and throw their weight behind this movement since you guys seem to worship them. I'm working on a website but it will be a while since my skills are rusty. In the meantime I threw together a shitty myspace as a temporary petition. At least add that. Put it in your top and show it off to your friends. Be proud of who you are and what you do.

So What Can I Do?

Here's what you can do:

1. Rally The Mob

Since they pretty much fucked us, we at Sythe are pissed. Unfortunately not everyone is a cheating hack, so unlike us they only got screwed over. We have to incite everyones rage at Jagex. The best way to do this is to go on some less cheating oriented sites and stoke the flames. They are already there. All those Stakers, Pkers, etc. don't need much to get riled up. And I have some ideas to rile those other Runescapers.

Tell them:
* Jagex is punishing the good with the bad this does not upset you? What happened to the ideals of democracy. I thought people were supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.
* If they are willing to go to these lengths what else might they do? Stop movement? lol now but just wait.
* Jagex is just money hungry. They just want to cut staff costs. All that BS about having more time to develop more quests and stuff is a load of crap. Look at the recent poll where a quarter of the people said they haven't tried any of the new quests released in 2007. They need to make the game better and not pile more crap on to make it look like they are busy.
* If all else fails tell them that Jagex supports terrorism

Also:
* Put something in your sig
* and maybe some Bake Sales perhaps?

2. Direct The Mob

Now that the word is spread and the mobs are grabbing pitchforks we must direct that mob at Jagex and throw our proverbial pitchforks at them. Which pretty much means that we're going to write a whole bunch of hate mail and start petition lists on other sites. Why not Sythe? It's a cheating site dumbass and it will just solidify Jagex's resolve in stopping real world trading. Also they are silencing the voices on their official forums. My thread and my friends suddenly disappeared. While my friend's 12 year old hate thread remained open. Why? They are quieting any real organized opposition.

So what you do is:
* Create petition threads in NON cheating runescape forums.
* Ruin Jagex's wikipedia page by saying they support terrorism are members of the Nazi party or are as retarted as some of the people who post on Sythe's spam forum.(Then you can link to it when you convince people to hate Jagex)
* Send hate mail via the "comment on our service" link on the Runescape.com main page. Example: YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES RUINED MY LIFE. I DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS SO I PLAY RUNESCAPE AND YOU RUINED THAT. FUCK THE FUCK YOU FUCK.
* Argue with valid points via the "comment on our service" link. Example: One bad apple ruins the whole bunch. Apparently this is the way you think. Well Jagex we aren't apples. We are humans. And as humans if we are mistreated we walk away. And when we walk away, we walk away with our money. I hope you reconsider your recent decisions regarding real world trading. Look at the hardline stance the U.S. took on prohibition. Look how badly it backfired.
* We could also use the proceed from the bake sales to bus the U.K. Runescapers to Jagex H.Q. and have them throw eggs at it.

3. Important Strategies To Keep In Mind

* We have to act quick our else the people will forget and move on. Would the U.S. invade Afghanistan if we waited 10 years after Sept 11.(Please no conspiracy theories) probably not, we need the event fresh in people's minds.
* Did President Bush give up after he screwed up in Iraq? No and neither can we. And I HONESTLY REALLY hate to say it but we might actually have a chance to not be the total laughingstock of the world due to the recent decline in violence. See patience or total stupidity pays off in the end.
*When trying to convince people of Jagex's apparent dealing with Al Queda and their evil intentions to ruin Runescape for everyone, try and act mature. No talking about penis lengths, no talking about rice, etc. If you want a lesson in what not to do, go to our Spam Forum. Fun but not helpful in getting what we want.

ALSO
Money talks. If we can get some sort of movement going I'm going to try and attempt a cancel your membership day for the credit card subscribers. You'll probably have a few weeks left so I'm sure you'll live.

Could someone create a site for this "movement" then we could have a much better position from which to rally from. We shouldn't link to a RS cheating site as the focal point of our battle





So lets try to get runescape back(and real world trading). I play runescape like 10 hours a month so I don't know why I care. Actually I know... it's because I LOVE ALL OF YOU AT SYTHE SO FUCKING MUCH.

Good idea and all, but I seriously don't think that will do anything. Honestly, even if we did all that, they would simply fix it... If there is too much spamming and riot, they will put on word filters and word bans to protect from flooding.

 

It's a comment on our service. We're not flooding the official forums. They already censor that. Give it a shot. Send a message to them. Even if they don't read it at least they'll get the message when they get thousands of responses.

Your only giving jagex what they want. They want us to suffer, and if we are begging them to bring back cheating then they have achomplished everything that they had wished for. When people complain, they can go, oh lets not change it back- look it affected the rwters so much they made some gayass myspace page about it.

This isnt helping, at all. They ARE NOT going to change it back.

 

The black market is still very well alive, and petitions or whatever you wish to call it like these, have no chance at working, period.

 

This isn't even close to just affecting real world traders. This is massively affecting the legit players as well, and they, just as us, are complaining.
Not only that, we aren't BEGGING them for anything. We are COMPLAINING.

We are paying customers, and are pissed off with the service we're receiving. It's that simple.
Of course Jagex knows they are pissing off real world traders, but keep in mind that we are a mere fraction of all players. Pkers, stakers and merchants have been hit and are out of business.

Only a tiny portion of complaints are from real world traders, and Jagex knows that.

I think you're not only underestimating the scale of this update, but you've clearly got the wrong idea of what we're trying to do.
