donor ranks

well, since you can no longer donate RSGP why are all the ranks in gp form?

My suggestion is that you leave the current ranks, and add like $10 donator, etc..

 

I agree with this. The gp ranks are just pointless. Except I suggest leaving them to the people that have already donated gp. And giving Real $ ranks from now on.

Thanks DarkSpark. If this thread wasnt posted then i guess alot more would have shown up after the updates. Maybe the new ranks can have like someof the old looks but like be different in the same way.
Either way i think something will need to be done.

Man, I love my gp rank. I think the rank should stay, just be changed.

also the currency they donated in would look mint to.

 

Maybe transfer the ranks into real life USD ranks.

Example- 5M Donator= $20 USD Donator etc.

 

Yeah, but that might anger the people with GP ranks that want to keep them. It wouldn't be that hard to change those who wanted them, and keep those who didn't. Then from now on have them all cash donor ranks.

Simple, make it so people who haven't donated over 5M unable to change to USD donor ranks.

Then change the minimum amount able to donate 5-$10.

I really hate the idea =/, 1m+ donator sounds alot better than 3$ donator.

 

Maybe rather than 3$ we have sometyhing like

minor donator
donator
and so on

but reguardless keeping the old donator ranks would seem pointless... as the value of mils will now be either extremely high or there wont BE a price. Thus how can you gauge how much someone has donated correctly ?

 

Exactly, something should be done about it..

I like your idea for 'minor donor' 'major donor' etc..

Maybe for bigger donations you will be able to see how much, like 'Major Donor, $50'

 

What about all donations under 15$ are minor and then we can have 20+ 30+ 50+ 100+ etc
