    a: don't buy it, crack it

    b: you don't actually ever have to pay the fee; after the 30 day trial runs out the Continue button is just greyed for a few seconds, then you can click it and use mIRC.

    mIRC is an IRC client, and can, therefore, connect to an IRC network.

    You can also use irssi, a much better (If you set it up right) client.

    bubbagump - that little lightning button in the upper left hand corner of mIRC? that's the connect button. Click it then register your nick, identify, then join #sythe..
