I haven't seen a thread on Guitar hero III except for that thread in off topic; but it's not about Guitar Hero III in general; and the one thats days old, so I was wondering if anyone on Sythe plays it.

I got guitar hero 3 for x-mas.... its very fun but hard lol -.-

 

Definitely improved over its predecessors mechanically, but the song selection kinda went downhill. Though I consider it good overall.
As for my favorite song, I would say the Halo Theme MJOLNIR Mix in terms of listening, but it has a lot of gameplay problems, so Through the Fire and Flames.

 

I have it for the ps2, and to be honest I think its crap, I mean it's ok for a little while but after you play the songs once (unless you suck) it gets fairly boring half the bands on there arn't real legends, and what ones on there arn't actually known for the songs they have on there, not to mention the songs on there are beyond easy thanks to there new little hammer on setup, and being able to beat the dragonforce song isn't too much to be proud of its quite easy, if you can get past the first part which is somewhat difficult then you can beat the rest of the song with ease. anyways overall i say it was a fairly big let down. although glad to see they did have metallica on it

P.S. the version for the xbox360 is a ton better song wise but above still goes for all consoles

I need to 5* Misirlou on GHII then I'll have the Log(-8k). I was about 20k above what I needed to be on pace for the 5* then I totally bombed the last part.

Funnest songs on GH3 are Impulse or CoP. The rest of the tracks aren't even close.

 

not all of our powers combined could beat daily in a fucking gh3 match. it's the kid's life.

aside from that, i just beat the expert career last night.

favorite song is probably One, or Take This Life

 

I can play hard on it, It's a pretty awesome game .
