    I got banned for AHK just before they released the news post about it. I imagine something like this has triggered their system as well.

    this literally happened to me yesterday. I got back on after about a year of not playing, and then the next morning I was banned for botting. I have tried contacting them through twitter, a few Jmods on Reddit, and the appeal process. So far no one has replied to me

    Basically, I got banned for macroing, I questioned it as I was not botting. However, I did use AHK. Then two days later they released this news post

    Mouse Keys - Changes & Clarification

    And it was GG me. I contacted mods on twitter and got responses, to no avail. You may have better luck, but I tried a fair bit.

    I'm not saying it wasn't.. I imagine the change was universal. However, my point was more that you 'can' be banned for a macroing major without using a botting client.
