so this happen yesterday night...

what makes people want to take other lifes?! like jesus this pisses me off
how would you guys feel if one of those 58 people he killed was a loved one?

• Authorities found at least 20 rifles in the room, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
• Two of them were set up on tripods, along with scopes, in front of the room’s windows.
• Paddock used a hammer to smash the windows before he started shooting.
• The guns appear to have been purchased legally. Nevada has lax gun laws, allowing people to purchase assault rifles, high-caliber weapons, and large capacity magazines.
• Among the weapons found were AR-15-style assault rifles.
• At least two of the guns were .223 and .308 caliber, and at least one was re-fashioned to act like an automatic weapon.

how was this man able to sneak in 20 guns, and hundred rounds of ammo??

Stephen Paddock killed himself in a Las Vegas hotel room, police say.
• He'd never shown violent tendencies, said his brother, Eric Paddock of Orlando, Florida. "He was my brother and it's like an asteroid fell out of the sky," he said when he learned his sibling was the gunman in the Las Vegas massacre.

• His father was a bank robber, Eric Paddock said. The FBI lists the late Benjamin Hoskins Paddock as being on the FBI's most-wanted list from June 10, 1969 until May 5, 1977.
• The father escaped from prison in 1969 and lived on the run until 1978, when he was arrested in Oregon, the Eugene Register-Guard reported at the time.
• Eric Paddock said his father died a few years ago and that "he was never with my mom." Eric said he was born while his father was on the run.
• Stephen last communicated with his brother via a text, Eric said, asking about their mother, who'd lost power during Hurricane Irma. Eric also said Stephen spoke to his mother on the phone a week or two ago.
• Eric Paddock says his brother did not have affiliations with any terror or hate group, and that he doesn't know why his brother would do this.

• "He was a wealthy guy playing video poker ... on cruises," his brother said, adding that Stephen could afford anything he wanted and played $100-a-hand poker.
• Eric Paddock said his brother owned apartments and houses. Business records filed in Texas show "Stephen C. Paddock" listed as the manager of "Mesquite Central Park Apartments GP 1, LLC" in Mesquite, Texas. In a statement, the apartment complex at that address said Paddock is not the current owner.
• Stephen Paddock's ex-wife lives in Los Angeles County, California, and has had no contact with him in years, authorities said. They divorced 27 years ago, after four years and nine months of marriage.
• Authorities searched Paddock's home in Mesquite on Monday and found weapons and ammunition, but Mesquite police spokesman Quinn Averett did not give details. Eric Paddock said he helped Stephen move to Mesquite about a year ago. Stephan paddock was 64years old.

• Paddock had been staying at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas since last Thursday. He killed himself in his room on the 32nd-floor before a police SWAT team burst in, Lombardo said.


Authorities say he had large transactions before the shootings doing $10k per day gambling in the casino and sometimes $20k to $30k in a day do you guys think this is what set him off because he lost?? I know he was wealthy but i know losing money can set someone to go insane. No one knows why he did this im just going off basic information and tryna figure out why.
although wasn't confirmed weather these were losses or wins.

Crazy something like this can happen in one of America's most prosperous cities.

Speculation says that the shooter had an assault rifle which he had illegally in Vegas.

 

No he was able to purchase the weapons legally from a gun store in NV where open carry is allowed.

 

Heard it on the news this morning,
Because assault weapons have been banned in Vagus since the late 1980s.

It's believed to have been modified at this point. He had 23 guns in the hotel with him, which begs the question how did he get them in without being noticed or arising suspicion

 

Literally disgusted with the amount of violence in this day and age. If its not terrorism, its some other loony deciding to kill people for no reason ?

I know its hard to prevent these type of things but if he had managed to get all them guns in the hotel, you have to question how...

OT though I'd see how it would be possible to sneak in a few guns, but 23 with no suspicion.....? It's so sad that happened, and my heart hurts for the victims, and all families involved. All you can really do now is look at a situation like this, and see what resolutions you could come up with to prevent it from re-occurring in the future as much as possible, which is nearly impossible, but something has to be done. So many questions are raised though from this specific situation, and very reasonably so.

 

Some people believe its goverment wanting to take away our guns, some think he was targeted.
