Halo just got a lot of titles (3,4, ODST, CE Anniversary) on Xbox One backwards compatibility.

Anyone want to play Team Slayer on Halo 3 and relive old times?

Game had 3,000 people online last night. I'm pretty excited at BC because it usually revitalizes multiplayer games like this. 3k people online for a game as old as Halo 3 is awesome. Will probably only continue to grow as more people download it, it only was released just yesterday.

I believe when I put Halo 3 in a few months back before BC it had only 500-700 people online, so it definitely has brought people back. Temporarily at least.

Feel like this was a good option for people that felt Master Chief Collection was a waste.

 

I'd play but I don't own an Xbox One

I'm still waiting for the day they add online back to Halo 2. I used to play alot of competitive matches, MLG, local LANs etc and I just wish they would release it again. Now all I can do is play local and super bounce all day. Miss them old days

 

Do you not have your 360 anymore? You can play with Xb1 people on 360 on Backward compatible titles.

Halo 3, but it fluctuates a lot. Usually it's around 2-3000 I've found. At least when I've been on, what's it at rn?

I had my days mixed up, was a friday night when I saw near 8k on. But seems like the novelty of backwards compatibility faded pretty fast.

But even so, I still get games easily. That's all I really cared about

 

Was it really only 500? It's 2 am right now and there's 1700 + people on.

I used to be active in HLG and team doubles, as well as played a decent amount of swat. I think my max level was around 28ish, or maybe a little higher. halo 3 was the game that made me start taking gaming very competitively.

Halo 3 was the game that made me interested in Xbox and montages and MLG scene and is probably onthebest best fans ever made (both multiplayer and campaign).

I don't have a Xbox 360 anymore, and only an xb1 so idk if I can still play:/


I remember doubles with my best irk friend being some of the greatest days/nights of my life and it makes me sad to see what happened after by his dropped halo and 343 studios took it over and ruined it..

... Halo 3 was ahead of its Time and even had a preference button to get teammates who "talked" or "didn't talk"
