Java file problem

Whenever I try to download and open a java file such as a RS bot or RSPS file I get a black box open and quickly shut? I can't work out exactly what it's saying but the first word is error, Does anyone know how I can fix this asap?

Go here and check if your Java is up-to-date. If not, download the newest version and try to open the file again.

 

It is, I uninstalled then re downloaded it.

I can't see what it says because the black box closes instantly.

Try running the jar inside your computers console, it should allow you to see the error
After going to the directory the jar file is in, type this into console

Code:

java -jar <jarname>.jar

Note: If you had a jar named Client, you'd do java -jar Client.jar

 

I don't know how to do this lol, Not very good with this sort of thing.

 

You can run it through CMD.
So you do windows key + R
Then type cmd (enter)
Then cd (file location) for example if its on desktop: C:\Users\MoneyPlays\Desktop (enter)
Then java -jar <jarname>.jar (enter)
