What're you needing help with exactly? @Dunworry Need a little bit of context. Are you looking to trade? Pick players up off the waiver? :)

I want another running back. Gore got me 10 points this week but I fear he'll be wildly inconsistent. Also Wilson hasn't done too well, should I be worried? And Pryor. He got me 6.6 points last week and 3 points this week; Allen Hurns is now the #1 WR for his team with an injury to the previous #1, should I switch them and trade Pryor. Hurns is projected for 6.8 points and Proyor 10.2

2 games have been played- I'd give it 1 more week before beginning looking for trades. Wilson is typically a late bloomer (as is the whole Seattle team). You also have Luck who will eventually come back. He's had some good years in fantasy.

Blake Bortles is a trash QB, so I personally steer away from JAX wide receivers. You could look to trade one of your WRs and Gore for a nice RB; otherwise, I'd wait a week. Gore isn't a bad option tbh. He's their main back.

Time for Eli to retire. Giants are trash and OBJ is a bit overrated imo

He's good for the highlight reel and that's about it. I wouldn't trust him to do jack anything in a real game (playoffs).

As evidenced by the garbage Packers "defense" shutting him down last post-season.

I'm mainly just salty I drafted OBJ in fantasy though so it's a hot take. Eli is legit trash though, might legit be time to call it a career. He has 2 more sb's than he should have gotten anyway.

OBJ has an ankle sprain, not much you can do with that. He's a legit WR. He's so fast and got great hands.

His ankle was fine vs the worst defense in the NFL though:

Also I'd like to see him make those one handed catches without those sticky gloves.

I've just never been a fan of those dwarf speedy WR's. They drop off way faster than their bigger counterparts usually and an elite corner almost always shuts them down. Norman shuts down OBJ easily and so does Sherman but even they cannot stop guys like Julio Jones.

I'd take a Julio/Moss/Plax/Fitzgerald/Megatron/Bryant type mammoth freak athlete WR over the speedy ones. In my personal opinion those are the ones that are invaluable and franchise changing for a long period of time.

That isn't to say speedy Wr's aren't useful, they obviously are. But if I'm picking my #1 WR, it's not going to be a Cobb/OBJ type. It's going to be a Plaxico Burress type. Go watch old Giants highlights of Plax in the playoffs - literally next to impossible to cover. And he showed up in real games, OBJ hasn't yet. Same with Larry Fitz or Randy Dandy

But like I said, Eli Manning is most to blame for the Giants being garbage.

I mean if you want to base it off one game then sure, I guess you could argue he's overrated. But here are some stats from his rookie year:
    1) Most receptions (110) through the first 15 games of his NFL career.

    2) First and only rookie in NFL history with at least 50 receptions at home during his rookie season.

    3) Fastest player in NFL history to reach 100 career receptions (14 games).

    4) Highest average receiving yards total per game for any rookie ever (108.8, set in 2014).

    5) Only rookie to have at least 11 receptions in consecutive games in NFL history (Weeks 13 & 14 in 2014).

    6) Only rookie to catch at least 12 balls, with 140-or-more yards and three touchdowns in one game (Week 14).

    7) Most receiving yards in a single calendar month for any rookie in history (606), which he did December of 2014.

    8) Youngest player in league history (22 years, 53 days) with multiple games of 10-or-more catches in a single season (4).

    9) Most games of at least 125 receiving yards in a rookie season with six.

    10) Only rookie in NFL history with five games of 90-or-more yards in a single month (November, 2014).

    11) He is the only player in NFL history to rack up at least 1,300 yards receiving in 12-or-fewer games in a season. Not just for any rookie, but any receiver, ever.

    12) Only rookie to have more than one game with at least 125 yards, 10 catches and a touchdown in a season. Odell Beckham Jr. didn't just do it twice. He did it four times.

    13) He is the only rookie to post a season of at least 75 receptions, 1,100 receiving yards and 10-or-more touchdowns in NFL history.

To me that's some pretty crazy things to achieve whilst being "overrated".
He's electrifying no doubt. There are several WRs I'd take over him, but he's definitely an elite receiver.

I'd take all those you listed over Beckham as well (minus Plax, maybe...I'd have to ponder that one for a little while.)

I'm not an OBJ lover, but I respect greatness. He's one of the greats so far. That could change any game.

I mean I didn't draft him because I thought he sucked lol. I know he's good. You can be good and still overrated. From a non fantasty football perspective there's just a good amount of people I'd take over him as a #1 WR. That said he'd be a good speedy option but I would rather have a physical WR first over a speedy one.

He's definitely the best speedy WR, I'll give him that. Problem with speedsters as I said is they fall off pretty fast as the years pile on. Desean Jackson is a good example.

I know Randall Cobb isn't quite as good as OBJ but he's another good example, he is incapable of being Green Bay's #1 WR, he needs Jordy Nelson there or his production goes to crap. Usually you need a combination of both. The only team I've ever seen thrive with only small speedy guys is New England, but Gronkowski balances that out too.

Oh and Plax has to get the nod over OBJ right now, he's dominated playoff games and has a game winning SB catch on his resume. OBJ needs more than stats to pass him in my opinion.

Stats are super inflated nowadays because the league is so different now. You have guys like Stafford racking up 5,000 yard seasons passing. It's just a different game now. Stats are a bit inflated. Also helps for OBJ when you play in arguably the worst division in football and when you're the only option on a bad offense which he has been in years past. But that's also impressive as well because they key on him and still didn't stop him.

My biggest fear with the speedsters is how easily they get injured and also how once they lose their speed it's GG.

I should preface something though - from a non fantasy football perspective, I think that WR's in general are over appraised. I think an elite QB can win with anyone at WR, I really do. Brady has won rings with some pretty mediocre WR corps. Favre carried Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice to a near SB appearance. Russell Wilson won a SB (should have been 2) with Kearse and Baldwin as his best WR's. It's nice to have an elite WR don't get me wrong, but I think a lot of people inherently overrate them. WR's and RB's are the two easiest positions to replace in my opinion.

As a Packers fan I have consistently watched them roster a top 3-5 offense throughout the past 20 seasons. So I'm just not impressed by offensive efficiency as others. The Falcons, for example, were the best offensive team statistically ever. And they still blew the biggest (and only) game that matters. I'd be much more impressed with a Seattle level elite defense, especially in 2017 when the NFL is catered to offense and fantasy football players. You can find half a dozen if not more elite offenses in the NFL. You can maybe find half that, if even, in legitimately elite defenses. Outside of Seattle and maybe Denver, that's it.

And we saw what happens when the best offense (55 td Manning) goes up against the best defense (Seahawks). One of the biggest blowouts / GG ez in SB history. So elite offenses make me VERY weary because all it takes is one bad game and you're bounced. Defense conversely can lead to offense, pts, field position, and defense can lead to offense. Offense cannot lead to defense. If it did Rodgers/Favre wouldn't be stuck on 1 ring.

A Richard Sherman/Earl Thomas will always infinitely impress me more than a Dez Bryant or Odell Beckham. Because the cards are absurdly stacked against defenses in this sport.

Tl;dr: OBJ is good. I tend to think all offensive players (WR's/RB's especially) get inherently overrated. I'm much more personally impressed by elite defenders because they're much fewer and further between and the rules handcuff them and give their counterparts ALL of the advantages.

Are they purposely trying to kill Thursday Night Football or something? Because the games have been dreadful. And they're matchups schedule makers should have known would be bad. Tomorrow is Niners-Rams. Seriously who wants to watch that?

Can't argue with much there, good stuff. Today he was fastest player to 300 receptions. But I'm with ya, I'd take many others over him, as well as an elite defender.

What the fuck was that, Oakland? wow, ive watched a lot of bad oakland raiders football games, but that had to up be up there with the worst... and the score could have easily been 60-0.

    @BartonsVodka

    Just wanted to update you.

I managed to pick up Chris Carson off the waiver wire who is projected for 12 points, so hell yeah. Anyways once my trades are accepted and done, this will be my starting roster. Lmk if you think I did good.

    QB - Russel Wilson
    RB - Melvin Gordon
    RB - Leonard Fournette
    WR - Mike Evans
    WR - DeAndre Hopkins
    TE - Jordan Reed
    FLEX - Keenan Allen
    D/ST - Vikings
    Kicker - Tavecchio

I basically turned Tyrelle Pryor, Derrick Henry and 2 waiver wire adds into Fournette, Reed and Allen.

Looks good to me. Fournette and Allen are good pickups for sure. Reed has a little injury bug so he needs to get over that to regain fantasy prowess.
