I've Cracked It.

Even though my days of Runesape Cheating are over, I still felt I had to help out, to save the RWT Community.
Well, i've found a way to beat the system - the break the shackles of Jagex and use their own constraints against them.
How you ask? The answer lies in the Grand Exchange.

This method of gold trade requires the buyer to have a large sum of initial money. 30m will do.

Buyer (Named B from now on) will go to the GE and purchase 10 Million Bone Bolts at 3 each. This costs 30 Million GP. It should be fairly easy to by the bolts.

Seller (S) Will go to B after 20 minuites and buy all the bone bolts for 5 ea (the highest price for Bone Bolts). That's 50 million GP, and 20 million has been transferred, successfully, without risk.
This could work for any cheap, bulk-item such as feathers.
Thoughts?

 

The question is, are people willing to do all this? What if the seller can't get the bolts sold later on?

The only problems:
-The buyer would be getting rid of 20M in the process. So say he'd want 50M, he'd have to pay for 70M
-The gold seller has to get rid of all these bone bolts.

 

first is getting the bolts in that amount, then there the chance of someone else getting the bolts before the seller gets them.

 

That's a great idea. Although it'd be super hard to sell 10million Bone bolts, most I've ever seen someone buy bone bolts is 300k at a time, but good idea.

 

No, because ie he managed to buy 10M at 3 each, and then turns around and sells them at 5 each, people won't buy them because there's other people selling at 3 each.

This brings another problem. If the buyer is now selling the bolts at 5 each, and the seller attempts to buy 10m bolts at that price, he won't get the ones the buyer is selling.

If you try to buy them at 5 each, you'll instead buy the ones at 3 each, because the GE finds the better deal for you. So chances are that you'll be buying the bolts from someone else, who isn't the buyer.

 

you want us to elaborate, to offer constructive criticism. your idea is brilliant, i figure if someone would find a bulk item that would sell in the millions (definitely feathers, logs.)

person b(buyer) meets person a in person to buy the item for the cheapest price.
b then goes to the grand exchange to sell for regular price!

--though most bulk low priced items have their lowest price, their market price.

I just figured out how to RWT safely, fast, and without getting caught.

It works, I've tested it out small scale. I'll tell the whole community in January when Jagex takes out unbalanced trading.

Whats wrong with Bounty Hunter in the middle of the night. I'm sure in about a month or so, not-so-popular worlds won't have people pking in the middle of the night and most will be on the designated pking worlds.

Problem! You can only do bounty hunter and loot share on certain worlds. If the world's activity is yellow, it means that it can only be done on that world. Try to do bounty hunter on another server.

 

The grand exchange fails.

You can't use it. At all. There's just too much of a chance that someone else will buy up the things and there's always the problem of getting rid of the stuff afterwards =/

you can buy 50.000 items at max in the ge i believe

 

yes i understand this but it would help only the richer or the more often gp buyers.
