How do you think jagex flags your ip after a ban

So, I have recently gotten into selling gold, and I was wondering if anyone here has any idea on how jagex flags you specifically. Do they flag you based on your virtual ip address, which can be reset or do you think they flag you based on your physical mac address?

What are your opinions and what do you guys do to stay secure with your runescape cheating and playing the game legit to not get bans?

 

It seems like they only flag IP address.
People who use proxies to split up their bots typically experience a reduced risk of chain ban.

I don't think many botters change their MAC address for anything.
