Should I be concerned?

Looking for some runescape services, I see a guy offering great prices and plenty of recent vouches.

Problem? All his vouches are users with like 1,2,3 posts. Joined last week, join yesterday stuff like that. Literally no vouches from people with 10+ posts.

 

Who is the user you're referring to?

If you suspect he's self vouching, then I'd check his IP audit, and see if any of his other accounts link up to the account that's receiving vouches. Sometimes it's just a coincidence, but I see where you're coming from.

Alright, so I checked it out, and he's not self vouching from what I've seen. I know why you'd speculate that, but if you take a look at shops that are extremely reputable for the services he provides (Fire cape in this instance), then you'd see that it's extremely common that the people who vouch are newcomers. It's just common in general as there are several people that just use Sythe to use a service, or buy / sell their gold, or other misc items, and then vouch, and log off. Again, I see why you'd be suspicious about this, but at the same time you have to keep that in mind.

Always follow this as well if you suspect this in the future:

If you're certain the user is self vouching, then make a report in the RaS section (located here), and the user will be punished (if indeed he / she is self vouching) with a 2 week ban + TWC following up (considering this is a first offence).

Unfortunately, you can't request to close threads in this section, but once a staff member sees this is resolved they will close it. Also you don't have to worry about that since you told both of us privately who you were referencing.
