Do you want commission staking?

No one is immune froms scams but you can minimize it just like everything else. Our clan been running for years doing comm staking. Aslong as we set guidelines and TOS, comm staking can be kept safe.

 

Yes, i'd be 100% for this, but there'd have to be a way to regulate it and make it 100% legit.

I vote yes, but there should be a separate section for it under account rentals where everyone rents stakers and there should be requirements. I think it's fair that to commission stake you'd have to have atleast a certain amount of posts or feedback. I'd say around 250-500+ posts. Also shouldn't be able to stake for more then 5-10 people at a time and everything has to be recorded.

 

Yes, but only people with a special rank should be able to host it. People could get this rank by being a decently trusted member and paying a deposit to a mod/omm/admin, which they get back if they exchange their rank again. A bit like how workers work for website owners.

 

I don't think it will be successful without a large number of scams since you can't have a rank system in place. Ban evaders/major scammers will go crazy in that section and it will be a headache for everyone

 

I support. Me and one other user did this about 4-5 years ago. I have him 10m at a time. Half of the profits of winning went to him, and the other half went to me. I like this because I didn't have to rent an account, and could experience staking, which can give you a rush as it's almost like gambling, but didn't have to wait till I had max combat stats or trying to make/ buya boxing account or maxed cmb...

However, IMO, it worked for one reason

I like the idea that you have to stream it, with your surge account linked as a "twitch streamer", or possibly have a 500m-1b deposit.


I still don't think there is a way to stop scam quitters, as even if they had a 1b deposit with sythe, they can just scan quit anything over 1b (say the user gave them 2b+ sto stake) and they can just scale quit and still profit..

Also, a 1b deposit would also make it super unfair for users who want to commission stale, but don't have 500m+ to put down as a deposit...

This would be really hard, but also very cool. This would increase the amount of gold sold over sythe.org, as well as open up new markets for other users who don't like to own and operate staking accounts.

This is true.. I mean, if you want to commission stake you can just find a trusted friend, possinly a IRL friend

Yeah obviously it's a free market, and that is bound to happen, but at the same time you have to realize people would have to be dumb enough to trust a newcomer here with all their money (especially ban evaders with TWC's). If they end up getting scammed from people like that, then that's their fault for being negligent with their money. I know this would be an awesome addition to the market, but I understand why a ton of people have mixed opinions, although that's how every market is, and will continue to be. There will always be a risk no matter what precautions are taken.

 

What stops someone from just staking a friend and purposely losing to ball out on runescape..
Too risky imo, trusted or not it's so easy for people to scam with commission staking lol.

No - it's just going to be a whole nother market for scammers to take advantage of.

 

There are readily available maxed mains so why would you want to introduce commission staking?

 

I vote yes, because I own a maxed main and commission staking via sythe could be a nice source of extra gp, if I could become trusted in that market.

 

No because some people will take advantage of that in a negative way and scam others. It's just best to keep renting from people, also for them to feel the rush of staking.

 

Yeah, would be good idea, people just need to be carefully who they give money to stake etc.

 

I believe it can be good in a sense that maybe higher ranked people will offer this to people of sythe.

However this also could be an excuse for people who do loose to go on to scam further on the site.
