do u think halo 3 is really worth all the publicity it got

i've played the game and it is great just wondering what other people think. By the way im a new member so i say hello to everyone

Out of the publicity I've seen, Halo 3 deserves none of it. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good game, but the flaws are overwhelming.

 

I agree with you Muffin. I mean, yes; the Halo games are pretty damn incredible. But the only reason it has that much pubicity is because of the first two games. And believe me...I'm a Halo Fan. In my opinion, no. It does not.

 

well..i am a real halo fan..not not halo1 tho.
They could have made that game number1 in fps's..i know it.
They could have put more time in it and took the darn mauler out of it.
Then..then it would be ...at least number 2 in my book.
But thats just my opinion.

First off, wrong section, should be in the FPS section

Halo 3 is fun if you like Basic games. You shoot, move,throw grenades,jump,beat down, and have a variety of different weapons and vehicles to use, and well Microsoft Game Studios had created it, so they were going to advertise it the way Microsoft does. So if you want to do it money-wise, if you compared the amount of money Microsoft spent on advertising and the amount of money they made in the first week it was worth it. For Extreme Gamers who love FPS s and other shooters though it was a let down. A graphical update would've been good, but I'm afraid that the only difference in graphics is that now it runs of a Microsoft Engine based off of the one created by Bungie instead of one created by solely by Bungie.

Overall:

CoD4>Bioshock>Rock Band>Halo 3

Console - Wise

A GAME NEEDS GOOD GRAPHICS + A GOOD SINGLE PLAYER

Halo is pretty nice but it has too many mods.

 

Halo 3 was worth the publicity it got. The graphics and gameplay were amazing.

 

i dont think it was, single player mode is boring!

 

i think all the halo's are over-rated.. I Am a fan boy of Playstation, But also pc. Ive played number 1 and 2 on my mates comp, I have also played number 3 on my mates xbox 360 and i dont like the feel of them so hmm idk i rekon there all over rated
