    Is your PC Secure?

Use these web port scanners to find out how secure your computer really is.

    https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2
    http://probe.hackerwatch.org/probe/probe.asp

But don't rely on just these results to provide you with a true sense of security. There are new exploits out every day..just use a decent firewall and an up-to-date firewall and you should be 'ok' at the least.

If any of these ports are open, I suggest you work on closing them.

Need help on doing so? Post away.

    Is your PC Secure?

When you think about it, this is a bad idea. Gives hackers people to target and where to target.

    Think about it...

I think this should be removed.

    Is your PC Secure?

... Nobody told them to post which ports they had opened. All the user has to do is post here if they have one or more of those ports opened, and someone should be able to help them through PM or what-have-you.

    Btw, All secure ;)

    Is your PC Secure?

True... Still It gives hackers somewhere to start...

Once someone has stated that one of the ports arn't secure the hacker could/would target them...

Still its only minor, so keep the thread. Just theres the possibility it could be used for bad things.

To be honest i don't think theres any real time hackers on this forum. So i think its pretty safe.

Which become completely and utterly useless once you get infected with a trojan/keylogger.

Always do a port scan, just to be safe.
