Why does everyone here still use Skype?

People don't like change.

 

Using it because everyone else is haha.

 

I like Skype because I can have it on my phone

 

Skype is really not safe but everyone still using it... Just like me

 

Very easy for stuff like trading, but bad for gaming

 

Well i started using discord for the people who want to talk via discord but other then that i find skype easy to use

 

I use mumble, teamspeak, discord, skype, aimchat etc. etc.

Different people = different platforms

 

works well for me at least.

 

IMO Discord is easier to impersonate people because you don't have a username, you have a username and a random number and a lot of people will only look at the name.

 

Personally prefer discord yeah, seem's skype's more basic in a sense. also being able to maintain multiple conversations with different parties helps the most

 

I think that discord is more gaming oriented, hence why people still prefer skype here.

I agree but I guess its just what people are used too.

 

Its easier as its been around for so long, many people will have the habbit of doing transactions etc on skype.

 

I prefer using Skype since it's what I've been using for the past 4 years. I'm learning Discord though and find it similar to Skype in a lot of ways, if not better.
