I resign from being a Middleman.

This thread is subsequent to about thirty people asking me to Middleman over the last few days.

Official Middleman, or not, people still demand I middleman for them; and everytime someone asks, I refuse.

People seem to think I still Middleman, but I'd like to make it quite clear that I do so no longer.

If the 'Official Middleman' rank is re-introduced, I am uninterested in regaining it.

If you were a MM you would understand why he is doing this even thought the mm rank is gone. People still think your obligated to mm for them and if you don't they react like they used to... (swear at you or something along those lines)

 

See I don't get what's with you guys. When you do your app to be a MM, you are basically signing to the fact that from the second you're given the MM rank, to when youre deMM'd, you will be swarmed by hundreds of people begging you to be their bitch momentarily for a fee. Naturally you can deny, and if they don't like that, they can just go fuck themselves. But the problem I see is the fact that official MM's dont like people asking them to MM.

Just tell them no and get on with your life, it is UNPREVENTABLE. It is your job to be bitched at... and this is coming from an ex-official, too. :O

 

Fouis, they have been de-MMed, and yet they are still being told that they HAVE TO MM. It isn't their job any longer since the sythe staff removed the rank, so they really shouldn't be getting "bitched at".

 

Not suprising, with this new update coming everything will be gone..
I've partially stopped MM'ing too, after a while, it just gets annoying.

 

I still have people adding me. They ask me to MM, I refuse. Then they beg etc etc. Then I just block them.

Eias, 95% of the Sythe population consists of complete and utter idiots.

Even if you write "NO LONGER TRADING OR MMING" in capitals in your name like I did, it'll take at least 2 months until they all asked you at least twice each person to MM anyway.

I wasn't or ever will be official.. I can only imagine the horrors of being a full official MM.

Quite dumb to remove Official MMs when Sythe chose to do so. They are still needed just as much as before until the January deadline hits. Official MMs have the exact same temptations as they did before, and we have the exact same way to deal with it if they scam, they get banned.

Doing what he did was basically saying he had no trust, what-so-ever in any of the Official MMs, which personally, I take offense to. If you think we're going to scam now, why MM us in the first place?

Regardless, yes, Official MMs are treated quite badly in some cases, although there is nothing you can really do. Simply block them if they pester you enough, commenting back or trying to get them to stop will just waste time and in most cases do more bad than good.

well best of luck to you finn, and yes it does get annoying, i mean when i did play runescape, i would get nowhere really fast with people adding me to mm, then i would wait like 15mins-30 mins only for the trade to fall through, and for what free?

Exactly, I dont get it at all. The basis for some people of trust is either lots of posts or official middleman. Now people are going to use post count and join date as trust rather then if you were official or not.
