My brother just brought a knife to school....

My mom just came into the house a few minutes ago and started yelling at my brother for bringing a knife to school. Apparently they called her at work. My mom says he is going to go to juvie. My brother says that he feels stupid. The school hasn't decided a punishment. What do you think is gonna happen? Suspended? Expelled? Juvie?

EDIT: He only got suspended for one day.

It's not a huge thing tbh, people probably bring a knife to school all the time, but they're not stupid enough to flash it in front of the staff, or show it off in front of a group of people.

He says he was gonna give it to somebody as a gift. You haven't answered my question, What do you think will happen to him?

as long as he didnt threaten or hurt anyone then thats all hel get and a crap load of insurance bill raises.

 

He is a dumbass. I just hope he doesn't get expelled because then my whole family will have to move and I will be forced to kick his ass. But if you say suspended then that's okay, I know for a fact he didn't threaten, it was just an accident.

 

It all depends on how he got caught, but he'll probably just get suspended.

it depends were, if you did that in my school you would easily get expelled and have a good chance of juvie.

 

Most likely he will get suspended for about a week, but if he has a bad behavior history then he might be expelled. Juvie
sounds a bit harsh

 

3 years ago i brought a hugh ass switchblade to school and got arrested by the fricking pigs and got suspended for 3 days. I'd say your brother will most likely get suspended.

 

he wont go to juvie, i know a guy who held a knife to some fuckheads throat at school and all he got was 3 day suspension

 

People who have been saying depends on which school are right. My school, probably expelled. Other schools, 3-5 day suspension.

my school seems a little stricter than all of yours we have cops check our parking lots every Thursday and if you get caught with any weapon its instant expulsion and you have to go to court u know the bad part about all of this i live in freaking alabama in the red neckiest part lolz nobody likes my i drive honda =P

 

Hmm, I wouldn't expect getting expelled, but it could happen. Probably a suspension. I DOUBT he'll go to juvie. Something like that doesn't deserve a trip to jail.

 

you cant shank someone with a knife.... you stab them.. a shank is like a screwdriver or something that doesnt have a blade.

umm im thinkin a week suspension/ cops informed of the situation.
i remember a day like that that happened to me...
grade 7 meeting new friends and stuff everyone is picking on this girl because she got attacked by a dog in the summer and had a nasty scar on her leg.

i punched 7 ppl in the face and they still didnt stop, it came to the point where i was bringin a knife to skool. after skool i went up to each one of them seperatly and sed hey, dont pick on hayley.
they sed "wtf are u gunna do about it???"
i pulled out the knife and put it to their throat...they never bothered her again.
one of the guys told the counsillor of the skool and i had to have a meeting with my parents and the counsillor and everything. i told her the situation and the other kid got in shit...

i dont know where im goin with this but i can relate to him, he probly brought it for protection cuz he was gettin bullied or one of his friends were.
