In my opinion, Jagex is just very controling. Seeing as it's their game, they can change it as they go, however one of the major things they can't control is player-made prices. The economy in runescape is the major thing trying to be affected here. Look at it this way, they removed Staking and then within a couple days after that they Impliment the GE. What do you think their motive behind that was? That's just my opinion.

I agree, it all makes sense in a way.

 

Legally speaking Jagex can be sued but they would not lose in court. However being sued will give them alot of unwanted publicity, so RS2's point is valid...

However my question is that why then could they not have stopped at simply eliminating the wildy and duel? Why remove RWT completely? No wildy and duel , by your reasonoing, would mean kids cant lose all that money hence no lawsuits. While by keepign RWT they gian membership money from bots and RWT'S. Seems like a win-win situation to me...
