On to how he did it:

I am 95% this is how it worked:

He looked for people in w2, made up some reason for quiting, showed them a ton of stuff, said there was a drop party, gave them varrok tele, said lets go somewhere quiet, walked to jolly boar, showed them like 500m or something, dropped that, then alched a rune full helm, and dropped that in the wild, then picks up his 500m.
