Explanation of the trade: Hattez offered to buy my username for 370m 07. He then told me he wanted his "trusted" friend to move the name for him instead of Milotic. So, I went with his friend. During the trade he promised me 110% that his friend wouldn't fail the move as he has done 30-40 switches including 1 characters and 2 characters. So, I went with him. Literally less than 5 minutes into the trade his friend said the name had been sniped. Afterwards when we were in voice chat his buddy, Saha claimed he could get my name back so he wanted my Twitter and Reddit account details. He messed around on my account and now my runescape account is locked and I am unable to recover it. Saha also bragged publicly in the Sythe discord about failing to transfer it.

How they scammed: He has yet to pay me for the name being sniped although he claimed he would take responsibility for it and my name was also banned from the game.

Honestly, I believe I deserve the full 370m instead of the 270m he was gonna give me and the 100m for the name transfer since it failed and was banned/locked.

 

Alright I'm going to clear things up so everyone gets off their circlejerk and knows the whole situation.

I offered to move the RSN "", Hattez was buying it from Death and came to me to ask if I could move it for him, I agreed to. I offered to move it for 60m and be responsible for 270m if the name was sniped.

Name was sniped, shit happens. This is something you can't control. People sit and set up macros ready to get names 24/7 because they have nothing better to do.

I told him that I could get his name back, I don't know what you are on about "Me bragging I lost the RSN in the Sythe discord". I didn't brag nor did I say it in the Sythe Discord. I simply posted in a private staking Discord it got sniped and me/Hattez were talking about it.

So we make the tweets/Reddit post crying to Jagex pretending he got hacked for it so we could get the name back. Someone replied to the Twitter DM with this:

Now this means that the person who sniped the RSN was in the private Discord as well and wanted to make sure we didn't recover the name, I see no other reason this tweet would be made.

On the other-hand, on the Reddit thread we made kids were replying "Oh we saw that being sold on Sythe bla bla bla bla you didn't get hacked"

Not too long after @JagexSupport replies to us saying that the name was being sold and links some thread.

I woke up to find that they deleted the RSN "" and now nobody is in possession of it.

I basically took control of @Death the Kid 's account and compromised it with my IP so he could recover the account and ask for the name back through the appeals.

Meanwhile, Hattez has paid Death The Kid the 270m, and if Death The Kid recovers the name successfully, he will refund Hattez.Death The Kid wants more compensation just because the name got sniped? Which is absolutely ridiculous because he wanted to sell it for 270m, shouldn't be asking more if it got sniped. Hattez could of suicide botted the RSN or released it or fuck all he wanted to in regards to the name, he paid for it. You aren't entitled to anymore money just because it got sniped.

Now that Death has been paid, I owe @hattez 270m as I took responsibility to which I will pay him on our own accord.

Alright, I dont deny any of this. I contacted the user because he was selling a rare rsn I really wanted. The user told me he was quoted 175m transfer fee via milotic. I dislike milotic and prefer not to use his services when possible. I've used @SAHA multiple times recently moving my rare rsns. He charged a decent rate and never failed. I had 100% confidence he could move the name because of the software he has access to. Unfortunately the name was sniped via the transfer. As agreed I sent payment for 270m @ .95/m @SAHA can refund me at a later date. Now it's true I posted 370m on his sythe thread, but in our discussions he agreed to 270m @.95/m and me handling the transfer fee. I was able to get the name transfer cheaper than I originally thought. Now why would I surrender that information when the user already agreed to 270m @ .95/m and me handling the transfer fee? I had absolutely nothing to do with the twitter/reddit posts. I knew that was where this most likely was leading, but I left. I was upset and went outside to smoke. When I returned I was told to wait on payment. We wanted to see if he could get the name back. We also wanted to make sure it wasnt bound to his account. However this morning I was linked that it failed. So I immediately sent payment for 270m @.95/m. Now yes I told him if we used PP I'd sent him the whole 270. I was only willing to send that amount if the transfer was successfull. (I was that happy at the prospect of owning it). I was also notified the rsn: Vegeta was banned. I was not aware his account was locked. Unfortunate series of events. It's why publicly listing an rsn like that is so fucking risky. Im sad because I lost the rsn and he lost access currently to his account. However there is a possibility of the account being unlocked and the rsn returned. I want to keep an eye out on this.

Why would Hattez need to pay you any money for a service where he requires a 3rd party to transfer the rsn name?

The 270m payment makes the name his property so the extra 60/100m doesn't have anything to do with yourself?

The situation with your runescape account is that it's locked and you cant recover it? What account information did you provide Saha? (assuming I have read the information right)

I made Death give me the password then we changed the password then we took off 2fa/changed email so we could make everything look legitimate. He was in agreement to all of it.

So basically to recover his account he would have to submit a ticket/recover the account. It has been 14 hours and he has not gotten a response but they have deleted the name for now.

I have moved hundreds of names, this is not my first pony show. Shit happens, I am liable for the value of the name but I don't get why people think I intentionally lost the name or something, this is coming out of my own pocket.

Once this is solved if a moderator wouldnt mind removing the links to my profile/changing thw title if it is ok with Death, would be appreciated.

 

From what I seen he was only provided log in/pass. Saha hasnt taken the account himself. This was done to make it look like a hacking so we could get the name back. He was in on this from the get go. Yes the accounts locked but not banned. As OO he should easily be able to have it unlocked. He's had ownership of the name/account for 10+ years. Please dont tell me he cant get the account unlocked. I've bought and sold 100+ accounts. I know damn well it's not even a question if he gets it back, It's when. Yes this has been a inconvience for us all, but everyone was aware of what was going on. I have nothing against this user. He was selling the name so he could take care of some bills. I believe were both just salty that the name got sniped and his account locked. I really am sorry. I really wanted the name. I've been trying to buy it for months.

 

@Death the Kid when you're next online do respond as soon as you can. I will probably be asleep for the next few hours and have work tomorrow so any staff member can step in if I am not online!

1. 270m fee with @Death the Kid is settled. Sahagold owes @hattez 270m 07 (they have agreed to settle privately).
2. @Death the Kid wants an extra 60/100m 07 which covers the transfer of rsn fee but currently has no valid argument for making this case. I deem that a seperate trade with nothing to do with you at this current point but if you have information not yet stated please feel free to post.
3. @Death the Kid account is locked (not banned) and he cant seem to recover his account. Apparently the RSN has been deleted. Account recovery shouldn't really be an issue assuming you're the original owner of the account. Your account is also YOUR responsibility so going ahead with the plan ultimately ends up being on your hands.

If case needs to be updated just post whatever you have @Death the Kid @hattez and the kid who cant help but get banned.

 

Yes, I agree with this fully. Also even though it doesnt matter, I've done extensive trading with @SAHA over the past few months. Easily 10k worth with zero issues. This is the first time a name was been lost during one of his transfers.

 

Saha had me move my RS account from my email to his private gmail account I assume so that it would look "legit" hacked. Either way, initially we agreed upon the name being sold for 370m. The reason it went to 270m is because I was allowing the transfer service to take 100m from my total profit to move it. Now, the reason I am asking about it is because Hattez had planned on pocketing 40m since he told me the transfer was 100m and Saha that it was 60m. All I wanted was to sell and transfer a name, which you both told me was a surefire. I have received $256 not $270 that you claimed to have sent as well as you said you would send. I have sent another account recovery email in my attempt to get it back as it is my account since I've had it for nearly 15 years. Lastly, Hattez that's not true, Saha said last night that he has lost 2 names during transfers however he recovered them both back.

Also this - Why would someone publicly state in a discord that they're moving a name and take a picture of said name?

 

Bud it ultimately doesn't matter where I talked about the name, but I'll tell you anyway. It was in a private discord, not a public. Milotic is a liar and also I didn't take a picture of me on your account, I only took a picture of the RSN. This was after it got sniped. Not sure where you want this report to go.

You've been paid, simple as that. You should be able to recover your own account back, if you are unable to, that is not my fault. I did my part, so I'm going to refrain from posting and let staff handle it now. Selling an RSN is equivalent risk to RWT'ing, shit happens.

Yes it is your fault, you fumbled a rare name. I hope you paid him exactly what you owed him or that's really shitty man. Hope this gets resolved soon and Death gets his account back in a playable condition.

 

@Death the Kid Can you confirm the refund? I see where you said you have received $256.
Also in regards to the full "370m" you agreed the "fee" would go to the guy xferring the name. Since the trade did not go as smoothly as you wanted, you are still getting what you would have got in the first place "270m" so therefore you are not owed another 100m.

 

I'm fine with that, what I am getting at is that Hattez was lying to me about the price of 100m so that he could pocket 40m. He even stated in one of the photos that he lied to get it cheaper. But yes, he did send $256 however he said he'd send $270.

 

No, I am getting at the $256 is equivalent to 270m @ the current gold prices. So therefore, the money has been paid.

 

He said in his message when we spoke of payment that since we are using PP he will send $270. He didn't say if the transfer goes smoothly.
