Why do things get smaller???

Why do objects get smaller the further away from them you are?

Dumb question I know sorry lol...

They don't get smaller, thats just the way it is for you I'm afraid

 

They don't get smaller they just get further away from you witch make them appear smaller.

 

^^ i agree with this guy, when u do farther the object becomes smaller, i dont know y but why not ask your science teacher.

 

Depends on what kind of "things" you are talking about,a balloon can get smaller even if it's tied because tiny molecules of air escape from tiny holes in the balloon itself which you can't see,but generally when something is smaller it's further from you.

 

Your perception of them merely changes based on distance/
